Dr. Mary Jo Anderson
Dr. Anderson is an expert internal change consultant with over 25 years of professional experience leading major transformations across financial services and nonprofit organizations. She has held several CFO positions and SVP Executive roles in finance and accounting, business process improvement, client experience, human resources, wealth management and banking, mergers and acquisitions, sales, and operations. Her experience includes working with several Fortune 500 companies, nonprofit and professional associations, the US intelligence community, public and private universities and community colleges, and several financial services organizations.
Mary Jo is a life-long learner and values opportunities to continuously expand her knowledge and experiences. She holds a Doctor of Management, Master of Business Administration, and Bachelor of Science in Accounting degrees. She has researched leadership, organizational behavior, virtual work environments, diversity, and other management topics. She has published work focused on organizational culture, emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, networking, and mentoring. Mary Jo is a graduate of the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Wharton University. Dr. Anderson is also a graduate of an ICF Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP), she received her Certified Professional Coach (CPC) certificate from iPEC. She is certified in ELP-MP, 360, and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessments. She is also experienced with DiSC, Strengthfinder 2.0, and many other organizational and personal self-assessments. Mary Jo is also an experienced and certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP), and Society of Human Resource Management SHRM-SCP professional.
Dr. Anderson is currently the Endowed Chair of Project Management at the Delaplaine School of Business, Hood College and continues her research focus on leadership and change management.
